2025-2026 Blended Learning PD Reimbursements

Blended learning combines online learning with face-to-face teacher-led instruction to effectively support differentiated instruction for all students. High-quality professional development (PD) for educators is a foundational component of successful blended learning (BL) implementation that leads to improved academic outcomes for students. To support school systems in high-fidelity implementation of blended learning, the ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ (ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ) will reimburse school systems for blended learning professional development, including coaching, from qualifying providers. This funding is provided by Rider 39 of the General Appropriations Act of the 89th Texas Legislature.  

Blended Learning Professional Development Courses & Qualified Programs

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ has approved two categories of PD courses for reimbursement. Click on the links below to access course and program details. Note: This professional development is intended to align the core instructional content of the classroom with an online software component.  

1. Customized PD Courses | Blended Learning PD courses available for both teachers and administrative personnel as new learning to acquire or refresh skills and knowledge in the field of blended/personalized learning best practices.
2. Job-Embedded Coaching Courses| Blended Learning PD courses available to both teachers and administrative personnel who previously have experience in BL models and are seeking a mentor or coach for tailored guidance towards a specific goal in the field of blended/personalized learning best practices for themselves or supporting others. 

Process for Approval of Reimbursements:    

1. The school system contacts the PD provider, completes the provider-created readiness materials, and then submits the list of educators to be enrolled in the program to the PD provider.   
2. ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ and the PD provider will review a readiness assessment and approve the school system and educator eligibility for reimbursements.   
3. Once approval is obtained, the school system pays the cost of the selected program, and educators begin the PD program; and   
4. Upon verified educator completion of the program, ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ will reimburse the school system.   

Please note:  

• Reimbursements will be approved based on the availability of funds and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.    
• For the 2025-2026 school year, PD programs must be completed by August 31, 2026, to be eligible for reimbursement.
