The U.S. Department of Education (USDE) provides updates regarding changes to the 2024–25 FAFSA processing timeline on its . In the event a processed date or Student Aid Index (SAI) is not available from the above data sources, documentation of submission from these same data sources, rather than documentation that an application was processed, will satisfy the graduation requirement for the 2023–2024 school year.
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) has extended the state financial aid application priority deadline to April 15, 2024. This extension is in response to the technical challenges related to completion of the FAFSA.
