The SBOE determines the subject areas and grade bands for which rubrics will be developed, aligned with upcoming IMRA cycles. With input from stakeholder feedback, ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ drafts the rubrics and presents them to the SBOE for initial feedback. Based on this feedback, ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ revises the rubrics and submits them for final approval at a subsequent SBOE meeting. All selected instructional material programs are evaluated and scored using the appropriate IMRA quality rubric corresponding to their program category and type.
The following graphic outlines the anticipated calendar year an IMRA rubric has been or will be developed. Newly created rubrics are typically released several months prior to the relevant IMRA cycle.
