This project is targeted to assist K-12 students, including emergent bilinguals, in reading on grade level by providing funding for professional development for Texas Reading Initiative literacy coaches. Professional development will include the three successful pillars to job embedded professional development: whole group face to face training, implementation support, and one-on-one coaching. This framework will be used to create professional development focused on increasing literacy coach efficacy, training on the research-based instructional strategies (RBIS), and high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) implementation
